Seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a busy territory. The products of this steel & metals building materials distributor are in high demand across multiple industries including manufacturing, energy, agriculture, construction, industrial, service centres, fabrication, MRO etc.

Ideal for a self-starter with excellent communication and organization skills who is looking for an opportunity to build a career and be highly rewarded for their efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the territory through managing and growing existing accounts and developing new business while fostering long-term relationships with clients.
  • Establish monthly and annual sales goals and work with the branch to achieve targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage new and existing customers across multiple sectors.
  • Analyze customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate quotations with key prospects and customers to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to stand out from competitors.
  • Communicate with internal cross functional departments.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage client interactions and optimize personal productivity.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience outside sales, practical knowledge of steel or metal distribution, industrial sales, manufacturing, fabrication or construction highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers to earn repeat business.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, time management and highly organized.
  • Excellent people skills with commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base relevant to customers needs.
