Qualifications

  • Valid class 5/G license with 5 years of Canadian driving experience required.
  • Driver’s abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years required.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in an outside sales position preferred.

We are seeking a customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to support the team at our NEW location in Moncton, NB.

What You Will Do:
  • Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
  • Travel to customer locations within assigned territory. (Up to 75% travel time)
  • Engage with current and new customer orders
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Forecast and develop potential sales plans for all customers
  • Provide reporting on accounts outlining customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Review new product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends as they are released
  • Participate in training programs that include vendor, sales, and other professional development areas.
  • Conduct industry-related presentations
  • May deliver parts to customer locations
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Require:
  • Valid class 5/G license with 5 years of Canadian driving experience required
  • Driver’s abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years required
  • 3-5 year's sales experience in an outside sales position preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills - Dedicated to exceeding the expectations of external and internal customers
  • Strong communication skills – Confident in delivering clear and detailed information to customers and team members
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and technology – Able to learn in-house systems
  • Heavy-duty parts knowledge or background in a related industry is an asset
  • Proficiency with multiple languages is an asset
