Job summary

A construction services company is seeking an experienced OTR Tire Technician for their Fort McMurray operations. Job description
Overview

Thompson Construction Group has an immediate opening for an OTR Tire Technician in our Fort McMurray area of operations.

Responsibilities
  • Service all sizes of OTR and mining equipment tires
  • Previous experience operating hydraulic equipment used to change tires
  • Provide preventative maintenance (inspect tires for wear, cuts breaks, etc.) and make recommendations
  • Maintain tools, equipment and service truck
  • Follow safe work practices
  • Wear personal protective equipment according to legislation and company policies
Qualifications
  • Experienced OTR Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid class 3 driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in the Fort McMurray area and live in remote camps, working a rotational schedule
  • CSO Certification
  • H2S Alive and First Aid is considered an asset
  • Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
  • Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
