Operations Supervisor
Forest Protection Limited (FPL) invites applications for the OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR position, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations and working within the Field Operations department.
Responsible for overseeing and executing assigned operational projects from planning through delivery, ensuring performance, budget, and regulatory compliance. This role manages aerial bases and field operations, coordinating aircraft, aircrew, equipment, and inventory while monitoring safety, weather, and operational readiness. The position includes reporting on key performance metrics, managing operational documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable Canadian aviation, transportation, and pesticide regulations.
The role involves establishing and maintaining deployed operations and aerial bases, overseeing equipment calibration and maintenance, monitoring product usage, and supporting flight operations as needed. Travel to various project locations is required. A strong focus on safety leadership, training, and emergency preparedness is essential, along with collaboration on research and other assigned operational initiatives.
