Position: Operations Recruiter (Hybrid in Holland, OH)

Velocity is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our telecom operations positions, including field technicians, dispatch coordinators, network engineers, NOC specialists, and other critical roles that support our network infrastructure and service delivery. This position plays a key role in ensuring we maintain a strong, capable workforce to meet operational demands and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

This is a hybrid opportunity where you can work 1 to 2 days remotely. Must be able to work onsite at our Holland, OH office location.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and role requirements across telecom operations.
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical, field-based, and operational roles.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent through proactive sourcing, networking, and ongoing outreach efforts.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools to manage candidate flow and ensure an efficient, positive candidate experience.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, community events, and networking opportunities to strengthen employer branding.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and operations leadership to continuously improve recruiting processes, hiring quality, and overall talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting metrics and provide updates on hiring progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience and Education Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably within operations, technical, or telecom related roles.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring for high-volume, hard-to-fill, and specialized positions.
  • Strong understanding of telecom operations roles and the technical skills required for success.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using ATS platforms and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for roles such as field technicians, network engineers, dispatch personnel, or NOC specialists.
  • Familiarity with telecom industry standards, workforce trends, and operations workflows.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
