Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for an experienced Oiler, Fueler, Lube Mechanic.

This position requires experience lubrication and fuelingall makes and models of construction equipment like: excavators, scrapers, dozers, compactors, backhoes, forklifts and loaders etc.

An Equipment Oiler/Fuelerperforms routine maintenance on heavy equipment, including fueling, greasing, and checking fluid levels.They may also assist with minor repairs and keep records of maintenance activities.Duties often involve operating a fuel truck or lube truck and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fueling and Lubrication:

    Fueling equipment, greasing moving parts, and checking fluid levels (oil, coolant, etc.).

  • Routine Maintenance:

    Changing oil and filters, cleaning air filters, and performing other routine maintenance tasks.

  • Equipment Inspections:

    Visual inspection of equipment for malfunctions, identifying potential issues, and reporting them to mechanics.

  • Record Keeping:

    Maintaining accurate records of fuel and maintenance activities, including work orders, logs, and service sheets.

  • Operating Fuel/Lube Truck:

    Driving a fuel or lube truck to deliver fuel, oil, and grease to equipment in the field.

  • Assisting Mechanics:

    Assisting mechanics with repairs and maintenance as needed.

  • Safety:

    Following safety procedures and protocols, ensuring equipment is stored safely, and identifying and reporting hazardous conditions.

  • Other Duties:

    May be required to perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning equipment or organizing tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    Some experience with heavy equipment maintenance or in a similar role is often .

  • CDL:

    A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements may be required, depending on the specific job.

  • Skills:

    Basic knowledge of heavy equipment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and maintain records are essential.

  • Physical Demands:

    The position may require physical exertion, such as lifting and carrying tools and parts.

This is a full time position with overtime.
