East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH) has a permanent full-time Occupational Therapist opening in its acute care team. This position works rotating days from 08:00 to 16:00. Schedule includes working on some statutory holidays and some weekends.

About The Position

Acute care coverage will include the medical, surgical and ICU units as well as covering in the Emergency Department as needed. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise conducting providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. You\’ll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. You’ll provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team.
