Salary Range: 75-85 per hour

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) will provide comprehensive care to patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and other neurological conditions. The NP/PA will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including external stakeholders to deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, facilitating optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting patient and family education, participating in clinical research, and developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and payers (including workers compensation).

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a focus on adult or family practice; specialization I neurology or neurotrauma preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification:
  • Licensed as a NP or PA with the State of California
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with a focus on neurotrauma or critical care preferred.
  • Experience in managing traumatic brain injuries and understanding of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology
  • Experience and knowledge of worker’s compensation rules and regulations preferred
