Our client is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing high‑quality medical services to the community. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Nurse Practitioner to join their team in British Columbia.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients presenting at the clinic.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Administer vaccinations and provide preventive healthcare services.
- Offer health promotion and disease prevention guidance to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through ongoing professional development.
What You Need to Have:
- Master's degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification. (must)
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
- Active, unrestricted provincial license(s) with prescribing privileges.
- CPR certification.
