The Nuclear Services Technologist supports the operation and maintenance of specialized nuclear automated tooling to ensure its availability, reliability, and performance. This role requires knowledge of nuclear tool design, analysis, operation, and maintenance in radioactive environments. Key systems include reactor inspection and maintenance tooling and reactor refurbishment tooling.
In this role, you will be developing maintenance and test procedures, troubleshooting, managing spare parts, collaborating with client engineering and technical personnel, and testing and commissioning nuclear automated tooling. This may involve setting up and managing CNSC‑licensed maintenance facilities, tools, and mock‑ups.
Travel or shift work providing technical services at licensed nuclear sites in Ontario may be required and may include sites in Bruce County, Brampton, Pickering, Darlington, and Chalk River.
