YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Human Resources General Supervisor, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Human Resources professional, supporting a long‑term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.

• Assist with human resources related tasks, such as supporting HRIS administration, preparing letters and documentation, supporting time & attendance processes, and contribute to audit/readiness tasks.
• Assist with HR projects (e.g. workforce planning cycles, program rollouts, process simplification) and contribute ideas that enhance service quality.
• Support policy interpretation and adherence to employment standards and company procedures.
• Assist with workplace investigations.
• Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.
• Learn to use human resources related software and tools.
• Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.
• Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional HR certification.

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
• You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
