This role will be based on site in Toronto, ON.

What will your contribution be to the team?

Under the supervision of the Acoustics and Vibrations Team Leader, the Noise and Vibration Professional will assist Project Managers forthe following tasks:

  • Undertake field noise and vibration measurements and data analysis;

  • Conduct impact, compliance, and noise reduction studies for industrial, road, rail, transportation, institutional projects, etc.

  • Perform sound propagation calculations indoors and outdoors using specializedsoftware;

  • Evaluate mitigation measures and verify theirperformance;

  • Write and contribute to studyreports.

What are we looking for?
  • University degree in environment engineering or science.

  • New Graduate with an interest in acoustics and vibrations.

  • Theoretical knowledge in acousticsand vibration fundamentals, including humanperception, sound propagation in free and reverberant fields, and general noise and vibration controlmethods.Knowledge of basic measurement methods for sound pressure and vibration.

  • Spoken and written English proficiency. Knowledge of spoken and written French is a plus;

  • Driver's license and carandValid passport(*).

(*)Assignment:

A regular full-time position,40hours per week. The workplaceis located inToronto; however, the position requires night and day travel to conduct field surveys. Travel isgenerally withinOntario and occasionally abroad.
