BakosNDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and is a growing and leading provider of non‑destructive testing services in Western Canada, with services offered to all industrial sectors. With anticipation for exciting growth, we deem it necessary to build a strong foundational team to support this expansion. The successful applicants will be ambitious and energetic individuals who enjoy diversity in their role and wish to grow their career in tandem.

We are currently seeking a NDT Trainee to join and contribute to our inspection team. This is a full‑time position that will be required to work night shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
• Devise ways to examine objects, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations

Requirements

• NDT Education and/or CEDO Certification
• Ability to work night shift
• Capable of making knowledgeable, integrity‑based decisions
• Familiarization of NDE methods (Conventional and Advanced)
• Strong communication skills with client and maintenance personnel
• Valid Driver’s Licence
