Position Details

FLSA Status: Salaried / Exempt

Salary Range: $70k - $150k annually plus commission

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of proven experience in ingredients and functional sweetener B2B sales. Responsibilities include developing new prospects, managing existing accounts, and working with marketing, R&D, and production to meet market demands. The role requires living within commuting distance to Ontario, CA, with at least 50% of time spent outside the office prospecting or managing accounts.

Essential Functions
  • Obtain orders and establish new accounts through planning and outreach.
  • Maintain existing accounts and study market potential.
  • Submit orders and keep management informed with activity reports.
  • Monitor competition and recommend changes.
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain professional knowledge.
  • Maintain records and contribute to team efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years sales experience in Raw Ingredients or Functional Sweeteners industry.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong sales drive, integrity, and work ethic.
  • Experience in client solutions, communication, and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, VOIP, and CRM preferred.
