Nanny

A private home is seeking an experienced nanny to care for two girls who are two-year old and five-year old.

  • Prepare food for the girls according to schedules provided by the employer;
  • Train the younger girl to eat by herself;
  • Change diapers for the younger girl;
  • Bathe and dress the girls;
  • Keep the girls’ rooms and playing area clean, sanitary and safe;
  • Provide potty training and other personal hygiene trainings to the younger girl;
  • Assist employer to develop activities plans and schedules for the girls;
  • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings as planned;
  • Train and encourage the girls to be independent, polite and confident;
  • Observe, analyze and record the development of the girls and report to the employer;
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of girls;
  • Discipline the girls as requested; and
  • Accompanying and assisting to medical appointments or school pickups.

Qualifications required:

  • Two or more years of experience in caring for toddlers.
  • At least some post-secondary formal training in child care.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, positive, kind, attentive, patient, organized and punctual, calm under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Police clearance is required.
  • Reference is required.

Classification: Full-time,35 hours per week

Salary and benefits: $23 per hour, 5 paid vacation days annually
