Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in a related, recognized post-secondary program.
  • Must possess a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean record.
  • Must have valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) level 1.
  • Willingness to travel and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect watercraft at provincial inspection stations.
  • Provide outreach and education about invasive species.
  • Issue mussel prevention orders and perform decontaminations.

Skills

Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
Occupational First Aid (OFA) level 1
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Ability to conduct field work in all weather

Education
