  • Enforce animal control regulations by issuing warnings and citations to owners.
  • Enforce municipal and provincial regulations
  • Enforce parking by-laws on city streets, regional roads and municipal properties
  • Investigate complaints from commercial and residential property owners and occupants
  • Investigate public complaints

  • Issue warnings and citations to commercial and residential property owners and occupants
  • Perform animal control bylaws duties, such as capturing and impounding lost, homeless and dangerous animals
  • Prepare accident reports
  • Respond to citizen complaints concerning stray domestic animals, livestock and wildlife
  • Investigate properties in violation of zoning and related by-laws on receipt of building permit applications
  • Investigate properties in violation of zoning and related by-laws, after receiving requests for licence clearances pertaining to zoning and related by-laws
