Multi‑Sport Camp Counselor

As a Multi‑Sport Camp Counselor, you play a key role in creating unforgettable summer memories for campers. You are not just supervising activities, you are leading games, inspiring teamwork, and helping children grow in confidence through sport and play.

This role is perfect for energetic, responsible, and positive individuals who enjoy being active, working with kids, and making a real impact. As a counselor, you’ll be part of a dynamic team, spend your days outdoors, and help create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where every camper feels supported and excited to participate.

You’ll be responsible for the safety and well‑being of your group while guiding them through a variety of sports and activities. You’ll also work closely with your Section Leader, sharing feedback and ensuring each camper has the best possible camp experience.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of campers at all times.
  • Supervise and actively engage with a designated group of campers.
  • Lead age‑appropriate multi‑sport activities.
  • Actively participate in activities to motivate and support campers.
  • Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and respect among campers.
  • Apply appropriate discipline when necessary, in accordance with camp policies.
  • Administer first aid in case of minor injuries or emergencies and report incidents as required.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with the Section Leader regarding camper satisfaction, concerns, or behavioral issues.
Summer Camp Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and families (asset).
