Job summary

A community-focused organization in Winnipeg is hiring a Monterey Mentor to assist in program operations and provide support to youth and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth care, particularly with trauma-affected families, and must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in youth care.
  • Familiarity with indigenous worldviews and cultural perspectives.
  • Crisis De-escalation Training or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Services Manager with program operations.
  • Implement behavioral support components of treatment plans.
  • Supervise student activities on and off-site.
