A leading facilities management firm seeks a Mobile Facilities Technician in Fort St. John, responsible for maintaining operational integrity across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in facilities management and technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Mobile Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of designated locations, supporting the customer service experience across multiple BC Hydro and Black & McDonald sites between Mackenzie to Fort St John and Fort Nelson. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
The Mobile Technician will support the coordination of preventative maintenance tasks and inspections for all building systems and services, and corrective repairs as required to ensure continued availability of the building spaces. The Mobile Technician will use their experience and technical skills along with our CMMS system to support our high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $33.51-$35.51/hour dependent on skills and experience.
