Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m to midnight. Reporting to the team leader, the mobile equipment mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing various equipment while regularly reporting to their team leader.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mobile equipment (conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses)
  • Perform visual inspections and carry out preventive maintenance according to schedules
  • Replace defective parts and make necessary repairs
  • Ensure that equipment operates safely and in accordance with company standards

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have solid experience in maintaining, repairing, and adjusting mechanical equipment (conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses).
  • You are known for your ability to effectively diagnose mechanical failures, breakdowns, and anomalies, and to repair or replace defective parts and systems.
  • You excel at testing equipment to ensure that performance is up to standard after intervention.
  • You are known for your ability to collaborate on problem solving in order to optimise equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • You have a good knowledge of OHS protocols and are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
