Description

National Rent-All Inc. is looking for a Crane Operator who will be responsible for running mobile cranes ranging in capacity from 22 tonne up to 350 tonne. Our fleet includes 20 tonne boom cranes, an 80 tonne Terex AT crane and a Grove 350 tonne crane.

Responsibilities

• Operate fleet of various mobile cranes
• Perform and assist in crane set up
• Review and understand lifting plans, load charts and rigging requirements
• Load and unload heavy equipment / material
• Work closely with Supervisor and adjust to changes in plans as needed
• Troubleshoot operational issues that may arise during crane use and recommend appropriate decisions to address them
• Track and document activity log, keep detailed daily crane records
• Complete pre‑lift inspection review
• Perform general maintenance of the equipment
• Be aware of all weather conditions and surroundings
• Work as part of a team collaborating with others onsite to coordinate crane activities within the overall project
• Prioritize safety and be prepared to adapt to changing conditions and challenges

Requirements

• 5 years experience operating mobile cranes
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate lifting operations
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on cranes
• Hold a valid 339A license Mobile Crane Operator Red Seal
• Minimum DZ license required. AZ license would be an asset
• Drivers License and own vehicle required
