Responsibilities
  • Champion a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace every day.
  • Contribute to Zero Harm and Zero Carbon Emissions goals by supporting programs and initiatives that advance sustainability.
  • Operational Support & Collaboration: Partner with both corporate and operational teams to streamline weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Provide technical insight to cross-functional teams (geology, maintenance, processing, environment, finance) to strengthen processes and decision-making.
  • Maintain business planning timelines and calendars and support execution of key deliverables.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain dashboards with operational metrics, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage AI and analytics tools to uncover trends and generate insights.
  • Support quality assurance of deliverables and maintain technical documentation systems.
  • Apply creative problem-solving to operational challenges and contribute to technology-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and innovation projects that enhance mine performance.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Additional education in computer science, data analytics, or related fields is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in mining engineering (open pit or underground).
  • Experience with mine engineering, scheduling, and operational analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and experience creating presentations.
  • Strong understanding of mining and production processes.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and collaborative team approach.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.

Salary Range: $90,000 - 95,000 + bonus. The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
