Merchandising Specialist & Scheduler – Full-time

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist & Scheduler to join our Shoppe retail team. This role is responsible for designing visually engaging product displays that elevate the member shopping experience, while also managing staff schedules to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has strong fashion retail merchandising experience, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Execute visually appealing product displays, including mannequins and floor layouts, to maximize sales.
  • Introduce new products to the floor and maintain merchandising standards in alignment with The Shoppe’s brand vision.
  • Manage team member schedules to ensure operational coverage and efficient store performance.
  • Support the Shoppe Manager with daily operations, seasonal resets, and product rotation.
  • Train and guide Shoppe Associates on merchandising standards and customer service best practices.
  • Lead the receiving, processing, and merchandising of new deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide timely feedback on stock shortages and opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional service to members, handling inquiries and feedback professionally.
  • Act as the key point of contact in the absence of the Shoppe Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to support in-store promotions and campaigns
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and development of new and existing team members.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fashion retail merchandising.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Purchase Order (PO) systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong eye for design, spatial planning, and attention to detail.
  • Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, and climb ladders.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in racquet stringing is an asset.
  • A love of fashion, sport, and an active lifestyle is an asset.
