Job summary

A municipal government organization in West Vancouver is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to manage their water treatment facilities. Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of maintenance and operation of water treatment facilities.
• Completion of Grade 12 and EOCP Certification required.
• Two years of related experience in a Level 3/4 Membrane Water Treatment Plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain water treatment facilities.
• Monitor and control the water distribution system.
• Perform sampling and laboratory tests for operational efficiency.

Knowledge of maintenance practices

Experience with SCADA systems

Education

EOCP Certification – Water Treatment Operator Level 1, 2, 3, or 4

W.H.M.I.S Training

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License for B.C.
