Job Purpose:

On any given shift, you will be the face of Coast Capital in the branch, balancing friendly advice with service. You should proactively listen and identify opportunities to deepen member relationships. By providing support and financial advice, we help members build a better future together. Although posted as a Customer Service Representative, internally, we call it a Member Service Representative, always prioritizing members.

Accountabilities:

  1. Be the first friendly face members see at Coast Capital, exemplifying our values.
  2. Build connection and trust with members.
  3. Act with courage and re-imagine banking experiences.
  4. Build relationships, meet members' initial needs, and proactively identify future opportunities through conversations and financial guidance.
  5. Educate members on our digital channels like online banking and mobile platforms.
  6. Contribute to team results by listening, spotting opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues to meet members' financial needs.
  7. Develop an understanding of how Coast Capital assists in members' financial well-being.
  8. Create positive experiences by resolving and preventing banking issues proactively.
  9. Be vigilant for counterfeit money or illegal transactions as the first line of defense.
