What this role is all about

Beem Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Advisor to join our Vernon Branch. In this role you will play a vital part in driving our company’s financial success by addressing members’ core needs with excellence, enhancing their experience, and identifying opportunities to recommend and cross‑sell additional products and services.

What you’ll do
  • Open accounts, process investments, and handle lending transactions.
  • Conduct loan interviews and collect and compile information for credit‑risk adjudication.
  • Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, wires, drafts, and term deposits.
  • Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with branch administrative duties such as outgoing cheque deposit, ATM balancing, night deposits, etc.
  • Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.
What you’ll bring
  • 1–3 years of job‑related experience in a financial sales and service environment.
  • Basic understanding of credit products and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in the full range of investment products.
  • Financial‑planning courses considered an asset.
  • High‑school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $47,500 – $58,100.
