Interior Health is seeking a medical microbiologist to join their regional medical microbiology and infection control team which serves four microbiology laboratories in Kelowna, Kamloops, Trail and Cranbrook. The candidate will focus on oversight of bacteriology testing and possibly mycology testing if the individual is experienced or interested. The candidate will contribute to clinical consultation for the regional infection prevention and control (IPAC) program and share a clinically oriented on‑call service with six microbiologists.

Compensation

Clinical Service Contract: Estimated remuneration provincially negotiated grid level.

Benefits and Incentives
