Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist.
• Licensed with NSCMLT or eligible.
• Registration with CSMLS.
• Ability to work shiftwork including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel for shifts at St Martha's.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical tests and procedures accurately using appropriate methodologies.
• Operate instruments and use computerized information systems for lab tests.
• Make independent judgments on the reportability of results.
• Maintain patient confidentiality as per the Code of Conduct.

Skills

Medical Laboratory Technologist program graduate

Licensure with NSCMLT or eligible

Registration with CSMLS

Ability to work shiftwork

Competencies in other languages (French preferred)
