About The Job

The Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) Laboratory is our largest and most specialized 24/7 lab, involving disciplines such as Collections, Accession, Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, Histology, AP, and Molecular.

Medical Laboratory Assistants perform duties including collecting blood and specimen samples, preparing specimens for analysis, conducting routine lab tests, distributing specimens, operating equipment, entering data into the LIS, and performing clerical duties and ECG testing as required.

This is a Relief Full-Time (1.00 FTE) position until the incumbent returns.
