Position Overview

Our Medical Affairs department supports this mission by providing medical expertise to inform product research and development, evidence generation and dissemination, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, and medical education.

Position Overview: The Medical Affairs Coordinator is a member of the Medical Affairs International team that will be responsible for facilitating key activities such as healthcare provider engagements and medical education programs, that bring deliverables to successful execution. The person will support the operations and execution with excellence of all on-going Medical Affairs projects in international markets. The primary responsibility is to the Canadian and Australian markets and other countries within Europe and Middle East as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Manages all logistics of healthcare provider engagements (internal approvals, contracting, tracking, payments, travel, and meeting logistics)
  • Supports scientific and fellows’ conferences by coordinating staffing, resources, and meeting logistics
  • Supports medical education events (event logistics, audio visual needs, attendee registration and tracking, follow-up communication)
  • Manages vendor logistics (statements of work, purchase requisitions, and invoicing)
  • Supports promotional review activities (medical/legal/regulatory submissions and review process) with uploads on Veeva, integration of feedback on documents
  • Coordinate the preparation and smooth execution of advisory board meetings (logistics, invitations, coordinating with third parties and venues)
  • Support the International Medical Affairs team to operate efficiently by coordinating internal and external meetings (scheduling meetings and also setting up collaborative tools, meeting minutes and documentation), finalizing presentations and various day-to-day medical affairs operations
  • Supports the International Medical Affairs Team by developing streamlined processes to support the improvement of medical education delivery, scientific documents (including figures and references)
  • Maintain quality and compliance standards by ensuring procedures reflect current practices and initiatives align with set standards
  • Audits and documents alignment with regional and international standards for medical activities

Additional Information
  • The position is a hybrid role based in the Oakville, Ontario office
  • Travel (including internationally) is expected on rare occasions for internal team meetings as required by business needs
