As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing new and improved products while solving production challenges. You'll use SolidWorks extensively, but hands-on problem-solving, prototyping, and clear communication are just as important. You'll have access to a full machine/fabrication shop, 3D printing, and sewing/upholstery facilities, as well as direct collaboration with trusted local and overseas suppliers from prototype to production.
This is an in-office position in Vaughan, ON, near Highway 400 and Teston Rd.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
• Mechanical engineering degree required
• SolidWorks proficiency required (experience with surfacing/NURBS modeling is a plus)
• Experience creating engineering drawings
• Hands-on mechanical design experience outside of classwork required
• Some fabrication or machining experience necessary (sewing experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to thrive in a hands-on, blue-collar work environment
