Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be working for a prominent utility company based in Surrey, BC. This is starting as an 18 month contract, 5-days a week onsite role with occasional travel to the various sites in the utility. The successful candidate will be working on sustainment projects that are dictated by the overall team to ensure assets are being maintained properly.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng) Certification and Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Required
• 7-8 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience with a blend of Technical & Leadership
• Experience in utilities or consulting backgrounds; prior station project experience is highly valued; experience working in the utility industry

Base pay range: CA$75.00 / hr - CA$85.00 / hr
