Position

Under the direction of the Office Manager - Alberta, the Mechanical Breakdown Data Entry - Alberta department is responsible for registering the largest quantity of certificates received from our dealerships.

Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Registering all Mechanical Breakdown certificates daily.
  • Recognizing and forwarding problematic certificates to the Mechanical Administration department for underwriting completion, including certificates registered under business name only, unsigned certificates, manual changes to the certificates that are not initialed, effective date issues, confirmation of coverage letters needed, previously remitted certificates, and more.
  • Void certificate verification – ensuring certificates received and marked as void have been properly handled and filed.
  • Bad scans – identifying bad copies of certificates in a batch, documenting comments in the certificate and filing the hard copy for records.
  • Emailing dealerships and Account Managers when select certificate issues are identified in a batch.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.
  • Experience working in AS400 is an asset.
  • Keyboarding 40+ words per minute is required.
  • Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
  • Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, education verification, license and certification verification (where applicable), and employment reference checks is required before employment.
