How will you fit in the big picture?
As a Marketing Manager of Hershey & Oh Henry brand, you will play a leadership role throughout the corporation as the brand owner responsible for the growth and overall health of the brand portfolio. The organization will look to you to deliver on your business objectives and will rely on your leadership skills to lead a team of internal and external cross-functional teams to execute your brand strategy flawlessly.
What will you do?
- Developing and implementing annual business reviews and marketing plans based on solid analysis and strong consumer insights.
- Work with research team members to direct consumer research and ensure that key insights and learnings are captured, and actions taken.
- Lead the development and execution of brand building initiatives including promotions and/or advertising. Ensure key learnings are captured to be incorporated into future activities.
- Develop and execute meaningful new products/commercialize new products that will drive brand development and growth.
- Complete business ownership of brand’s annual operating plan including risks and opportunities, budgeting, SKU management, financial forecasting and reporting, etc.
- Work closely with key cross-functional partners, specifically in the customer marketing and sales areas to ensure brand strategies drive closely linked sales strategies and communications.
Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements
- Business degree or equivalent experience with a marketing or related major preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive brand management experience in the Packaged Goods industry or similarly disciplined industry.
- Strong personal leadership, cross-functional teamwork and strategic thought leadership are required in addition to solid analytic skills.
- Strong presentation skills, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Proven track record of leading agencies to create and execute high impact marketing campaigns.
