Marketing Lead

Better Days Foundation is a non‑governmental organization committed to empowering vulnerable individuals through acts of love, compassion, and generosity. Life can be unpredictable, and families often face challenges they never expected. We provide vital support to ensure no family struggles to meet their children’s basic needs. We serve locally and focus on tackling the root causes of poverty to create sustainable, lasting change. Our vision is a world where every child walks into school nourished, warm, and equipped to succeed. With the support of generous donors and community partners, we aim to help countless families access school supplies, healthy meals, and essential clothing.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and corporate giving programs that align with our mission. Your contributions will directly help us secure critical funding to sustain and grow our programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage content for social media, newsletters, and blog posts
  • Create visual assets (graphics, flyers, social media posts) using Canva or similar tools
  • Help grow our online presence through community engagement and outreach
  • Assist in planning and promoting fundraising campaigns and events
  • Support brand consistency across digital and print platforms
Qualifications
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to create or edit content in Canva, Adobe, or other design tools
  • Organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and consistency in branding
  • Knowledge of digital marketing or nonprofit communications
  • A heart for community service and belief in our mission
