This position is located in Ontario, Canada.
The Marketing Development Specialist is responsible for Canadian market planning and promotion of Ophthalmic Devices and Refractive Surgical Ophthalmology product lines with the goal of achieving planned revenue and profit targets. The Marketing Development Specialist is expected to work in conjunction with global business sector Management and Marketing teams to provide market research and competitive intelligence information and respond to local market conditions. The Market Development Specialist has the additional responsibility to provide sales support and local customer support. Furthermore, the Marketing Development Specialist has the responsibility of managing regional/local KOL’s for podium presence at meetings. This individual will work closely with key opinion leaders to help craft marketing strategy and messaging, drive product utilization, and ensure consistency and clarity of internal / external communications in regard to products and services. Must excel at building cross functional alignment, as this individual will work with sales leadership, global marketing, supply chain, operations, customer service, and finance to ensure successful product introductions. This position reports to the Head of Marketing within the Medical Business Group.
