Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in touchless biometric technologies, including facial recognition, fingerprint, and finger-vein scanning, supports access control, workforce management, and visitor screening for enterprises worldwide. They are currently looking for a

Marketing Coordinator to join their growing team.

This is a permanent, full-time in-office position located in Toronto (North York), reporting to the Manager of Marketing. The ideal candidate will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events (international travel required) that align with the company\'s marketing goals and brand identity. This individual will play a key role in creating engaging experiences to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan, manage, and execute company events, including trade shows, webinars, product launches, networking events, and conferences
  • Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and project plans
  • Identify and coordinate with external vendors, venues, and suppliers
  • Manage event logistics including registration, catering, transportation, AV equipment, and accommodations
Marketing & Promotion
  • Collaborate with the content team to create event marketing campaigns that attract target audiences
  • Develop promotional materials, including branded material, giveaways, and customer gifts
  • Manage event branding to ensure alignment with company guidelines
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for each event
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Consult with internal teams (e.g., product management, sales & technical sales, HR) to ensure alignment with event goals
  • Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and speakers to enhance event value
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events to address issues or amendments
Reporting
  • Track and manage events spend vs. budget to ensure financial efficiency
  • Provide post-event reports summarizing attendance, engagement, ROI, and other key metrics
  • Gather feedback from attendees to continuously improve future events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing trade shows, company events, and conferences
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic of design and branding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and expenses
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems quickly during events
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and partners
  • Able and eager to travel and work extra hours, including weekends and evenings, as required for events
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Valid Canadian passport
