Job description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, is fueled by creativity and design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves bringing consumer-focused brand stories to life. You will support day-to-day marketing execution with a strong emphasis on designing compelling visual assets that drive awareness, traffic, and sales across digital and in-store channels. This is a 6-month contract role with possibility for expansion into a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Support (40%)

  • Support B2C marketing campaigns across retail, e-commerce, and social channels to drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Assist in creation and deployment of external content channels including social media and email marketing.
  • Assist in executing in-store promotions, product launches, and local initiatives.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with an ability to maintain consistent brand tone and voice across a variety of channels.
  • Strong research skills to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning; contribute to strategic planning.

Digital Advertising Coordination (40%)

  • Support the setup, execution, and optimization of PPC campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, paid social platforms) including ad creative, copy alignment, and budget pacing.
  • Assist with SEO initiatives, including keyword research, on-page optimization, meta data creation, image optimization, and content recommendations.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, conversions, and ROAS; provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and update digital product and campaign content to support search visibility and conversion performance.

Graphic Design & Content Production (20%)

  • Design high-quality creative assets including print flyers, product signage, social media graphics, email banners, web assets, promotional packaging, and branded merchandise.
  • Maintain brand standards across all deliverables to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand presence.
  • Prepare final artwork files and manage production requirements for print and digital outputs.
  • Source, edit, and optimize product imagery and lifestyle photography.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce seasonal campaigns, product features, and customer engagement materials.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience using email marketing or marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar quick-turn design tools.
  • Experience with photography, videography, or motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems, including Shopify.
Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field, or equivalent documented experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, graphic design, or digital marketing role, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms and performance tracking tools
  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio demonstrating retail or consumer-focused work.
  • Understanding of social media best practices and consumer marketing principles.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs, including SharePoint.
