About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day marketing activities, with aprimary focus on managing Ambrose’s social media channelsand producing content that reflects our brand, values, and campus experience.

You will be the voice behind our growing and transforming digital platforms—crafting stories, capturing moments, and helping create a vibrant and welcoming online community for prospective students, current students, alumni, parents, and friends of Ambrose.

Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Management
  • Develop, schedule, and publish content across all official Ambrose social media channels.
  • Monitor trends, engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and ensure a consistent and positive brand presence.
  • Create platform-specific content including posts, stories, reels, and short-form videos.
  • Track and report on performance metrics; provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to ensure timely promotion of events, news, and student-life stories.
Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Write compelling stories that highlight student experiences, academic excellence, campus life, and alumni impact.
  • Produce website copy, email content, feature stories, news posts, and digital/print marketing materials.
  • Conduct interviews with students, faculty, alumni, and other Ambrose community members.
  • Assist with storyboarding, scripting, and writing for video projects.
  • Support photo and video shoots to capture authentic Ambrose moments.
  • Develop and leverage faculty relationships to generate story ideas and content.
Marketing Coordination
  • Assist in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns.
  • Help maintain and update website content using our CMS.
  • Coordinate project timelines, approvals, and communications with internal partners.
  • Provide support for event promotion and live on-the-ground social content during key campus events.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all communications.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or marketing (internship/co-op experience included).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone for various formats.
  • Experience producing and publishing content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Solid understanding of social media best practices, trends, analytics, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
