Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine or health sciences.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate research delivery on VIU's Nanaimo campus.
• Culture micro and macro algae for research purposes.
• Care for Pacific oysters, Japanese scallops, and clam species.
• Support finfish research on campus using RAS systems.
• Maintain scientific instrumentation and assist in its usage.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for research activities.
