A leading distribution company in Cramahe, Ontario is seeking a Manager - Strategic Accounts to develop key client relationships and manage strategic sales activities. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in strategic sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence at the executive level. This position entails collaboration with suppliers to explore new market opportunities and maintaining productive relationships with key accounts.
As a Manager - Strategic Accounts, you will build an effective account strategy to develop key strategic client relationship(s) resulting in profitable sales growth using an advanced level of sales skills, industry knowledge and business acumen. You will maintain contact with account(s) at a high, often executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. You will manage sales activities for named accounts rather than an assigned territory. You may be a team leader and/or provide professional leadership and coordination for a team supporting key strategic accounts.
Outside Sales – Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
