The ideal candidate will have at least two years of retail customer service experience and one year in a leadership role. Job description

If you’re passionate about style and helping customers find their perfect fit – and have experience in retail customer service, we'd love to hear from you! We’re excited to fill an existing position, join our team at Factory Optical – Saskatoon – Lawson Heights Mall – partners of solis optics, as a Manager, Store/Optician I! This position is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. We’re open Monday to Saturday. In this role you’ll deliver exceptional service, enhance the lives of our customers in a supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Cultivating a culture of teamwork, collaboration, trust and dedication
  • Providing training, development, and coaching to support staff growth and performance
  • Establishing clear revenue targets and leading the team to achieve them
  • Hiring, onboarding and training new team members
  • Providing exceptional customer service with every customer interaction
  • Coordinating and managing staff and doctor schedules
  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable (AR/AP)
  • Ensuring accurate and timely benefits submissions and maintaining up-to-date tracking
  • Managing inventory to ensure accuracy and product availability
  • Handling bank deposits and performing bank reconciliations
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required to support store operations
What Do You Bring?
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service-focused retail environment
  • A minimum of one year experience in a leadership role
  • Registered Optician in the province of Saskatchewan
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment, effectively managing competing tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated flexibility, effectively managing competing tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt and excel in dynamic work environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
