Manager, Solutions Engineering - Enterprise Sales (Canada)

NetApp is seeking a Manager, Solutions Engineering - Enterprise Sales for the Canada market (Toronto-CAN). This role partners with sales leadership to drive market share growth in the Canada Central and Public Sector market. You will lead a talented team, engage directly with key customer executives and partners, and pursue opportunities to expand NetApp's presence.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute market-driven strategies using technical, sales, and industry insights. Identify emerging opportunities and pivot approaches to capture growth.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Hire, coach, and develop talent; set clear performance expectations; lead teams to achieve technical wins and strategic objectives. Engage with customers and partners demonstrating technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Partnership & Ecosystem Cultivation: Forge internal and external partnerships; collaborate within a matrixed organization to mobilize resources for innovative and agile market approaches.
  • Entrepreneurial Innovation: Champion an entrepreneurial mindset; identify and capitalize on new opportunities; implement innovative problem-solving techniques and drive breakthrough results. Use data-driven decision-making to set ambitious targets, take calculated risks, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: At least 8 years of relevant industry experience; minimum 4 years in a people management role with leadership impact.
  • Technical and Strategic Expertise: Solid technical and sales background with understanding of enterprise solutions; familiarity with the NetApp portfolio or willingness to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with ability to engage senior and executive leadership. Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Desired Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter with track record of seizing opportunities; resilience and adaptability; results-driven leadership capable of achieving ambitious targets.

The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is C$242,250 - 313,500 CAD and will be determined by location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages include a comprehensive benefits package and may cover health, life, retirement plans, PTO, leave options, performance-based incentives, employee stock purchase plans, and RSUs. Benefits vary by region and are described during recruitment.
