The Security & Privacy Practice is a global leader in providing a broad array of services that allow clients around the world to measure and manage risk and control, and to enhance the reliability of systems and processes throughout the enterprise. With core competencies encompassing assurance and compliance, e-business, ERP services, information technology, internal audit, risk consulting, and outsourcing for a variety of business processes, our ERS professionals offer a wealth of experience across a wide spectrum of industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform implementation of key security architecture components such as routers, dialup access servers, switches, firewalls, VPN solutions, intrusion detection solutions and network management applications
  • Apply information security principles, techniques and standards for network operating systems
  • Perform basic UNIX, NT, Novell and network (TCP/IP) programming
  • Provide technical guidance and manage all aspects of information protection architecture projects
  • Identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients
  • Provide technical assistance relating to the design and implementation of security and controls of clients' networks
  • Assess clients' e-commerce readiness and provide appropriate security assistance
  • Identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients

  • Evaluate, counsel, mentor and provide feedback on the performance of others
  • Develop security policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • CISSP, CISA, CFE, Microsoft Certification, CISCO Certification, or related IT certifications and/or courses
  • minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the security field
  • Internet technology infrastructure experience including: directory services, security architecture, enterprise security management
  • Windows NT/2000 and/or UNIX experience
  • Information security experience in: VPNs/firewalls/TCP/IP, biometrics, smart cards, remote access control and authentication
  • Ability to present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • IT Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience in employee leadership, mentorship and coaching
  • Experience managing client engagements
  • Experience working as a part of a culturally diverse team
  • Previous consulting firm experience is an asset
  • Travel required
