As the Manager of our Portfolio Compliance Team you will play a vital role in overseeing and enhancing our compliance processes ensuring adherence to regulations and managing a team of compliance analysts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and drive compliance strategy while working closely with key stakeholders across the organization to mitigate risks and promote operational excellence.

What You Will Do
  • Oversight of the day-to-day functions of the team including compliance test setup, compliance monitoring, and compliance reporting. Compliance rules are developed in Charles River and are derived from client mandates, global regulations, firm-wide guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Managing and providing guidance, instruction, and direction to compliance analysts on the team including hiring, training, performance reviews and goal setting.
  • Implementing, maintaining and continuously improving portfolio compliance-related procedures and controls.
  • Collaborating with various business groups within the company (portfolio management, operations, legal) and working with them to develop new compliance initiatives.
  • Promoting a risk-intelligent mindset within the Portfolio Compliance team and throughout the company.
  • Supporting the management team on strategic initiatives and development of the company and team.
  • Taking a lead role in projects that vary in scope and size.
What You Bring
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze situations and develop solutions focused on efficiency and improving existing processes.
  • CFA is preferred but not a requirement.
  • 3 years of line management experience.
  • A tech-leaning mindset with experience using systems such as Bloomberg, Excel, Charles River, MS365 and Power BI.

The starting salary for this position is $120,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by addition there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position.
