A prominent human rights organization is seeking a Finance and Facilities Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and facility management. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to equity and diversity, with significant experience in financial operations. DURATION: Temporary – One year contract starting January/February 2026
LOCATION: Hybrid work environment (Ottawa or Toronto Office)
SALARY: $101,013 per annum
TRAVEL: Occasional travel required

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the Manager of Finance and Facilities is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial record keeping and reporting and analysis including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and the probity of the donor database. In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing general building and property maintenance including duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.
The successful candidate will have a deep and abiding commitment to tackling systemic issues affecting historically marginalized employees and communities with a specific lens of anti‑racism, feminism, intersectionality, and accessibility to external and internal work. This includes an ability to support in building an environment that reflects Amnesty International Canada’s promotion of a culture of respect, equity, and fairness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced University education in Accounting or Finance, and a professional accounting designation e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or similar qualification such as an FMP (Facilities Management Professional) would be an asset.
