A leading energy company located in British Columbia seeks a Manager, Health & Safety for Major Projects. This role emphasizes driving safety culture and regulatory compliance while leading a team of Senior Advisors. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in H&S, preferably within oil & gas, and hold relevant certifications. The position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
The Manager, Health & Safety – Major Projects is a field-based leadership role responsible for providing both technical and functional guidance on all Health & Safety (H&S) matters across the Major Projects portfolio in Western Canada and the United States. This role plays a key part in driving a strong safety culture by championing the implementation and continuous improvement of H&S processes aligned with Cenovus’s Operational Integrity Management System (COIMS). The incumbent will ensure compliance with all applicable Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) legislation and industry best practices, helping to safeguard workers and support the successful execution of Major Projects.
