With the Canadian head office in Edmonton, the company supports routine maintenance, turnarounds, and industrial capital projects by providing services including scaffolding and work access, insulation, fireproofing, and asbestos abatement for general maintenance, construction, turnarounds, and shutdowns to western Canadian producers.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is a strategic partner to the business, responsible for translating data into insights that drive smarter decisions and long‑term financial health. This role leads corporate forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement while supporting senior leadership with clear, actionable analysis. By integrating financial modeling with business planning, the FP&A Manager helps align operational execution with strategic goals across the organization. This position is ideal for a forward‑thinking finance professional who excels in both detail and big‑picture thinking.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Design and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic initiatives, project evaluations, and investment analysis.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reporting packages with performance insights, trend analysis, and executive commentary.
  • Partner with operational teams and accounting to align financial forecasts with actuals and identify actionable variances.
  • Create and manage dashboards, KPIs, and other business intelligence tools that support data‑driven decision making.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and multi‑year financial planning cycle in collaboration with department leaders.
  • Coordinate scenario planning and risk analysis for key business initiatives.
  • Serve as a key contributor to cost optimization and margin improvement strategies.
  • Lead and mentor financial analysts, fostering technical development and business acumen.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic finance, or similar roles.
  • CPA or CFA designation considered an asset.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.
  • Strong business partnership and communication skills across departments and levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software.
