What is the opportunity?

As the Manager, Data Community of Practice, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of communications and upskilling program initiatives to engage with the PB&CB Data Community. You will work closely with the Sr Manager, Data Community of Practice, business leaders and internal partners to help develop, plan, and execute on communications, programs and events to drive awareness of PB&CB’s strategic data priorities and foster a data community.

What will you do?
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the student early talent program, learning initiatives and other employee engagement events
  • Contribute to the delivery of PB&CB Data Community of Practice roadmap through creative storytelling, profiling practitioners and sharing business updates on internal intranets and social channels
  • Help with the development of skills assessments, learning resources and persona-based skills pathways through partnership with business leaders and HR partners
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and vet high-quality learning resources
  • Work in collaboration with partners across PB&CB, Technology, and Enterprise to increase employee awareness of data initiatives and cultivate an engaged community through storytelling and effective communications
  • Research and maintain awareness of learning platforms and industry best practices to drive innovative upskilling strategies
  • Manage content, event calendars and execute strategies across internal sites, email, Webex, and other platforms
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, communications or related studies
  • 3+ years of relevant project/program management and corporate communications experience
  • Proficient in corporate collaboration channels (i.e. Intranet, Webex, Confluence, Slido, etc.)
  • Exemplary project management skills in delivering multiple, evolving high-priority programs simultaneously
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to create content for a variety of channels that gets read and drives action (i.e. blog posts, emails, presentation decks, speaking notes, internal feature stories etc)
  • Experience with driving strategic communication, learning and employee engagement priorities
Nice-to-have
  • Self-starter with experience navigating a large organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience or Interest in Data & Analytics
